I’m wishing you the warmest of welcomes to Beyond the Stethoscope. If you’re on this page I’m guessing you want to know more about me and I’m in the business of giving the people what they want. This blog is a place for me to share parts of my life within and beyond medical school. Medicine can be an all consuming course but I’m determined to maintain a life outside of it that balances my interests and hobbies (such as this blog). So if you’re an aspiring medic, current medic or a 20 something year old who is trying to live their best life, this is the place for you.
I’m sure you want to know a bit about me as a person though. I am currently on my 3rd degree (I love to learn). I’ve always known I wanted to do medicine but had 4 rounds of applications before I actually got a place (madness or resilience you decide)! I love love to travel and you’ll see my travels documented on my blog. I’m a creative at heart, so if you don’t find me behind a book, I’ll be writing my cares away. I’m into self development and I’m always looking for ways to improve as an individual.
